About InfoSoup

InfoSoup is the place to go "when you're hungry for answers!" You can search for library materials in the catalog or find full-text articles in one of our many online databases. Need to renew materials, place a hold, save a search, or track your reading history? No problem! InfoSoup makes it all easy. You can even find out how to contact your local library staff and find your library's open hours.

Brought to you by...

InfoSoup is brought to you by OWLSnet, a consortium of public libraries in northeast Wisconsin. OWLSnet brings the collections of over 50 libraries right to your fingertips, along with a plethora of additional research tools accessible to you from within a library, from home, or from work. Take a look at the list of OWLSnet member libraries to see if your local library is participating in InfoSoup.

What's with the name?

We wanted to start this project on the right foot and give it a name that was catchy, easy to remember, and would reflect the materials we would be providing. Info stands for information in all of its many forms. Soup is a collection of yummy ingredients that nourishes and comforts. So, InfoSoup is a collection of powerful ingredients (catalog, databases, services) that can nourish your personal and academic pursuits and brings comfort with its ease of use. Voila!
